The strong core backing of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra helped me to realize how truely gifted a group the Beatles were. Cheap Trick took that backing and added the hard licks that lifted the audience to soring heights in their presentations of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. This album originally was a culmination of ingenious experimentation and professionalism that far exceeded any works of its time. BRAVO to Cheap Trick for having the ability and soul to complete the journey with such exceptional grace. This feat could not have been done by just any band and the support of special guests only added to the exceptional night. This night allowed all us a chance to turn back time; a much better time. My thank to all of those involved that made this truely special night possible. The only down side to the evening was that it had to end; I would have enjoyed a few more songs.
